| Family Promise provides shelter and support services for homeless families in Muskegon and Northern Ottawa Counties. At any given time, there are a maximum of 14 individuals in the program (usually 4 families). The families stay one week at a local church and then transfer to the next church. Covenant Life Church is a co-host congregation alongside Church of the Dunes for the Family Promise program. There are 14 other host and co-host churches involved in the Muskegon/Ottawa County Family Promise program. Hosting congregations provide homelike accommodations in their church facility, hosts to interact with the guests, and 3 meals per day. Our guests will stay at Church of the Dunes and volunteers from both Covenant Life and Church of the Dunes will provide meals and volunteers needed for the week.
