A Day To Shine!

Day To Shine is a ministry of of Covenant Life Church. We will be meeting needs in our community in a variety of ways.

Sign-up below to serve on May 1st during our normal worship time. Please arrive at CLC at 8:30 AM, wearing your Day to Shine shirt, for instructions and materials. Come back to CLC at 11:30 for lunch and worship.

Angel Church
 Help with building improvements and neighborhood clean-up. Church is located in Muskegon. *Plan to eat and worship at Angel Church after serving.
  Antioch Church
 Paint the front of the building, help installing a sign and assemble a dividing wall for their new building.
  Christian Haven Participate in a hymn sing and visit with the residents at Christian Haven.
Childcare at CLC Volunteer to care for infants thur 2-year-olds so their parents can go serve elsewhere. *Please sign up for childcare on a separate sheet if you will need this service.
Ferrysburg
 Spread bark along the connector path.
Grand Haven Railroad Tracks
 Pick-up litter, trash and other debris along the railroad tracks.
Grand Pines
 Participate in a hymn sing and visit with the residents at Grand Pines
Haircuts
 Licensed cosmetologists needed to provide haircuts for free at CLC.
Love INC Ministry Center
 Pull weeds, prepare lawn and do other yard work needs to prepare for the opening of the new center.
McLaughlin Grows!

 Weeding, planting and gardening.

Muskegon Rescue Mission Paint a hallway, tape & patch a room, wash windows or do yard work.


Prayer
 Pray over all the projects and people while they serve.
Sanctuary at the Shores
 Bring your family along to have a hymn sing with the elderly residents who live at Sanctuary at the Shores.
Spring Lake Village
 Create a rustic trail by clearing brush & picking up winter debris; move sand and prepare Spring Lake beach for spring.
Yard clean-up for the elderly
 Rake, pull weeds and do general spring clean-up for those who are unable to.
