Covenant Life Church continues to be a beacon of hope through our involvement in our local community. Each year our church donates food and offers assistance in many different ways to the Muskegon Rescue Mission, serving northern Ottawa and Southern Muskegon counties. Through utilizing the gifts and talents of the congregation, the Care Ministry provides a holistic approach to caring for individuals in times of need. Our goal is to provide the training and support necessary for people to engage in service to our church family and to our community. Kids Hope USA builds caring relationships…one child, one hour, one church, one school. Adult attendees of Covenant Life Church engage in one-on-one relationships with at-risk elementary school children, mentoring them for one hour, once a week during the school day. Kid's Kamp continues to be a powerful ministry to our immediate neighborhood each summer. Kids from our community spend a week at CLC experiencing Christ's love through games, crafts, stories, dramas, and a GREAT lunch. Many people in our community have received assistance from the SWAT (Servants With Appropriate Tools) team in the form of a handicap ramp to their home. A new Bunk Bed Ministry, budget counseling, Mercy Meals and Feed-A-Need Freezer Meals, and our New To Me Community Sale are ways that we seek to be the hands and feet of Jesus to our community. We are involved with LOVE, Inc. and Tri-Cities Ministries, agencies designed to be a blessing to people, and support local food pantries through weekly food donations.
