Our Special Events Team
“Party with a Purpose” — The role of this team is to provide events that are creative and fun where women can simply experience and enjoy authentic community.  These events present the Gospel message in a safe, non-threatening way.  A variety of service opportunities include planning events, beautification and food preparation.  Annual events are the Christmas Candlelight Tea (December) and the Women’s Spring RefresHER (March).  Call Sheri Holman at 616-847-2595 to get involved.

Women's Spring RefresHER
The Spring RefresHER is for women's spiritual refreshment.  Each year this annual event changes in flavor to add excitement from year to year.  This is a great outreach opportunity to invite a friend, whether she has been walking with our Savior for years or has not yet met Him.

Spring RefresHer 2009- Friday, March 20-  We welcome Laura Story in concert!  This year we are blessed to have Laura Story as our special guest.  Laura is a talented songwriter and recording artist who will share her message in an evening of stories and songs, followed by dessert and fellowship.  Laura is best known for her song "Indescribable", which has become a mainstay of worship.  Most recently she is known for the beloved worship song "Mighty To Save", which is sung in churches, youth groups, and on contemporary Christian radio stations across the country.  Laura doesn't like to take credit for her songs.  As she says, "The songs are His.  I'm just the first person who gets to hear them."  Laura, a former Young Life leader, lives in Atlanta with her husband Martin Elvington, where she is Worship Leader and Women's Pastor at Perimeter Church.  Reserved seating tickets go on sale February 1, 2009.  Tickets are $15 each or 4 tickets for $50.  The concert begins at 7pm with the doors opening at 6:30pm.  Invite someone who needs to hear His story!  For information please contact: Sheri Holman at 616-847-2595 or bszaholman@msn.com.
