Apples of Gold
A mentoring program based on the Titus 2:3-5 passage which encourages “seasoned” women of faith to come alongside young wives and mothers “to train them in Godliness.” These six week classes meet once a week for 3 hours. There are cooking lessons, discussions from the Word of God and a time for sampling food and conversation. Cost is $25 for book and food. There are two classes being offered this fall: Grand Haven class — Mondays, 5:30-8:30 p.m.; Spring Lake/Ferrysburg class — Tuesdays, 5:30-8:30 p.m. Call Betty Henderson at 616-842-1262 for more information.
Face to Face
We pair a younger woman with an older woman in a friendship/mentoring relationship. The two women set a time and place for a one-hour meeting, once or twice a month for a one year period. The purpose of this ministry is to share life experiences and learn how to listen to one another and to God in all circumstances of life. Call Betty Henderson at 616-842-1262 to be a mentor.
